Our Heavenly Father, our hearts are filled will appreciation for those who donned the uniform of this great nation to offer their minds, bodies, and even their lives to defend the United States of America and promote liberty.
Many in our communities still bear the wounds of battle and trauma that often accompanies military service. May they and their loved ones feel strengthened and supported by the gratitude of not only the American people, but of those around the world who see this country as a beacon of hope and freedom.
We ask your blessings upon these patriots and thank you for the precious gift of their lives to our country and community.
We offer this prayer in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ—who laid down His own life for us.
I was caregiver to my husband disable Vietnam vet for 8 years, The VA diagnosed him Alzheimer’s Demetia. They had him on 3 diabetes 3 heart pills, changing his diet to plant food, keeping him active even dancing with him in his wheelchair, laughing, out for nature rides, and telling him he did not have alzhiemers every day, he got off all those pills. I asked him not to leave me almost daily, I know he still understood me just didn’t talk. Sept 29, 2021 I was talking to him, he was looking at me, he just passed away. God called him home, I let him go. We both enjoyed your program and listen every Saturday, because every issue you mentioned was us. You need to continue this program, I know there’s lot of dedicated listeners, because were two. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat. Now, it’s my journey alone.
